KIC
Bengaluru
A structured pilot program to evaluate whether content creation, editing, and publishing can be effectively managed by an internal resource while maintaining consistency and quality.
Why This Pilot
Is Being Proposed
KIC Bengaluru is actively exploring opportunities to increase its digital presence through regular content creation, including reels, short-form videos, educational content, facility showcases, patient awareness initiatives, and social media engagement.
As content requirements continue to grow, there is an opportunity to evaluate whether a portion of this capability can be developed and managed internally.
Content requirements are growing.
Internal capability is the answer.
Why I Am Positioned
To Run This Pilot
As part of my current role as Junior Manager at KIC Bengaluru, I am already involved in multiple operational and coordination activities across the clinic.
This existing familiarity places me in a unique position to evaluate whether an internal content creation model can be successfully implemented and sustained.
A Structured
In-House Workflow
I would like to propose a structured pilot program to establish an in-house content creation workflow for KIC Bengaluru.
- Clinic operations and workflows
- Doctor schedules and content opportunities
- Facility and laboratory processes
- Existing social media coordination requirements
- Basic content shooting and editing workflows
The objective of this pilot is to determine whether content creation, editing, and publishing can be effectively managed by an internal resource while maintaining consistency and quality.
What I Would Handle
During The Pilot
During the pilot period, I would be responsible for the following operational tasks.
Content Already
In Motion
Content creation activities have already begun. Below are examples of work captured within KIC Bengaluru.
Facility Showcase
Video footage captured within KIC Bengaluru for promotional and informational purposes.
Laboratory Process Content
Footage documenting laboratory workflows and procedures for educational and awareness content.
Doctor-Focused Content
Video content captured for doctor communication and social media initiatives.
“Video footage captured by me and subsequently edited and published through external marketing support.”
Videos / Reels
Publishing Channels
Sample Monthly
Plan
A structured weekly content cadence ensures consistent output and variety across content categories.
Actual content themes may vary based on clinic activities, doctor availability, campaigns, and emerging content opportunities.
Why An In-House
Model Works Better
Evaluate Before
Committing
This pilot provides an opportunity for KIC Bengaluru to evaluate an internal content creation model before making long-term commitments regarding content production workflows.
The objective is not to replace any specific approach in advance, but rather to evaluate whether internal capability development can effectively support the clinic's long-term digital growth objectives.
- Content quality
- Consistency of delivery
- Operational efficiency
- Communication responsiveness
- Overall value delivered through an internal resource model
“I recognize that my editing skills are still developing and that there will be a learning curve. However, I am committed to continuously improving my capabilities and applying feedback to ensure consistent progress in content quality and delivery.”
Days
Proposed duration for the pilot evaluation. Enough time to test the workflow, establish a rhythm, and observe results.
Success Criteria
At the end of the pilot period, performance may be evaluated based on:
What Happens
After 60 Days
Upon completion of the pilot period, management may review performance and determine the most appropriate path forward.
Why This
Proposal Matters
This proposal is intended to explore whether KIC Bengaluru can successfully develop and sustain an internal content creation capability while maintaining flexibility, accountability, and alignment with the organization's long-term objectives.
I would appreciate the opportunity to demonstrate the viability of this approach through a structured pilot period and objective performance review.
Should the pilot be deemed successful and adopted on a long-term basis, I would appreciate consideration of an appropriate revision to role responsibilities and compensation reflecting the additional scope of work involved in content creation, editing, publishing, and coordination activities.
